OK. so my sister is married to this guy. who has a brother my age. and i was just wondering if there was anything wrong with dating him. because hes like my brother in law...but we're not blood related or anything. it was just something i always wondered.

since you arent directly related there is nothign wrong with it. there are many occurences where two sisters from one family marry brothers from another family. so dtainmg him is perfectly fine.

no its okay but then if you broke up with him saay if you got in a relationship with him then you'd see him alot at family gatherings christmas thanksgiving etc. and it would be akward seeing your ex alot an then maybe he gets a new girlfriend an brings her to some of the gatherings that would probably make you mad unless you move on

No that's not illegal. However it's usually best to stick to dating outside the family because it could cause problems if you broke up/your sister and her husband split etc.
