Web Hosting Company

Question Posted Saturday December 16 2006, 1:02 am

Okay www.litewebs.com is my webhosting company. And for some reason my webhosting company is looking for a billing system that accept credit cards. Now I have tried modernbill.com which sucks. What do you suggest I am not looking for any thing like paypal. I want people to be able to go into there account and change there dns and stuff.

Try [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) They're a great company based in Ithaca NY, right near where I live. I don't know if you've heard of the finger lakes reigon of NY, but all the huge wineries use Spider Graphics. Try that. Hope i helped. Thanks for asking! ~Erik

You haven't given enough info to give you a bulletproof answer, like what operating systems and client control panel you may be running.

I will assume the standards of Linux, and cPanel, which means the usual choice for management would be LPanel.

www.lpanel.net

... to which you will also need to add a credit card merchant account. Getting one of these for hosting can be tricky, since hosting is an EXTREMELY high-fraud business.

If you are over 26, have 10 years of excellent credit, and/or substantial cash reserves with which to secure the account, you shouldn't have any trouble.

I also looked at the site, and while you didn't ask for advice on it, here is a free tidbit: That template is floating around in a free template pack, I have seen it many, many times. So have other people who shop for hosting constantly. Best to do something original, or quit.

Good luck,

DN.
