Lightening my hair

Question Posted Monday December 11 2006, 10:38 pm

I dyed my hair a red brown color. It came out darker than I expected. I've tried lemon juice on my hair. It lightened it a little, but I didn't go out in the sun. Could you give me some suggestions of ways to lighten it without dying it again?

do the lemon juice thing again, but use a hair dryer if you cannot go out into the sun. I have used this lemon juice based spray called sun in before, both in the sun and with a blow dryer. It works very well both ways!

Shampoo it like hell?
I'm sure if you leave in the shampoo for half an hour, it would fade... but not that noticeable

Try lemon juice again & go out into the sun. :]

You'll need to dye it again, if you want to get a quick result.

Go buy a color stripper & dye it a lighter color.

If you are worried that your hair might get damaged
then get a deep conditioner treatment

You could always go to a beauty college & get it done. They have lots of young people in it (obviously) so they won't mess up your hair & they have their teachers by there sides to help.
