I dyed my hair a red brown color. It came out darker than I expected. I've tried lemon juice on my hair. It lightened it a little, but I didn't go out in the sun. Could you give me some suggestions of ways to lighten it without dying it again?

I'm sure if you leave in the shampoo for half an hour, it would fade... but not that noticeable
Try lemon juice again & go out into the sun. :]
You'll need to dye it again, if you want to get a quick result.
Go buy a color stripper & dye it a lighter color.
If you are worried that your hair might get damaged
then get a deep conditioner treatment
You could always go to a beauty college & get it done. They have lots of young people in it (obviously) so they won't mess up your hair & they have their teachers by there sides to help. [ queenhearts's advice column | Ask queenhearts A Question ]
