why do I still get pimples even when I wash my face atleast three times a day, use acne stuff called benzaclin and differin, and use acne moistuizer. its not like my acne is really bad or anything, but I have a few zits on my forehead and its annoying because they dont go away quick, and when they do, I just get another zit. What can I do to make it so I have no zits on my face.. is there any wash or like pore clearing facial thing I can do by myself?

Using to many products dries out your skin and some even put unnecassary oils into your skin. And don't wash your face 3 times a day unless absolutely necessary, theres nothing wrong with it but try 2 times a day, morning and night.
To find out which product is best for you, like the other answers said visit your local chemist/dermatologist/doctor. Your doctor may be able to give you some special pills for it, my friend got prescribed them and they helped so maybe thats worth a shot.
As for pour clearing facial things you can do by yourself.. Drink water, its natural, doesn't cost and doesn't give or take anything to or from your skin.
Steam your face. Either get a bowl of hot water, not to hot, just hot enough to open your pours. Have a towel over your head so the steam goes straight to your pours. After this wash your face with cold water to close your pours.
Face packs, you might have to buy them but they are not expensive at all, look for ones specially formulated for acne/oily skin. I use them once maybe twice a week (thats all you need) and they leave my skin feeling smoothe, fresh, oil free and help towards removal of acne BUT if your zits are inflamed, open or sore, do not apply the mask as this will sting and irritate.
Drink plenty of water, keep your skin hydrated.
Avoid fatty/oily foods, because that can cause oily skin which produces acne.
Perhaps oyur hair is causing the acne, like on your forehead? If your hair touches any acne prone areas try pinning it back, even if its just for when you sleep. Alice bands keep it all together and lets the air get to your face.
sizzlinmandolin answered Saturday December 9 2006, 11:23 pm: What you should do is go to a Dermatologist. A Dermatologist is a doctor that specializes in this type of thing. My aunt made me go to one once and I am so glad that she did! He perscribed me some medicated facewash and cream that works sooo well! It doesn't dry your skin out and it gets rid of pimples in 2 days or less. The appointment took 5 minutes. The doctor looked at me, asked me a few questions, and handed me a perscription. Now I can get an acne treatment that actually works. The ones that are sold over the counter are usually totally useless. I'm sure a Dermatologist would be more than happy to give you a perscription. Good luck! :) [ sizzlinmandolin's advice column | Ask sizzlinmandolin A Question ]
ductape_n_roses answered Saturday December 9 2006, 11:10 pm: Okay, a lot of things can cause you to breka out including excessive washing your face. You're drying it out which causes you to break out more so keep it hydrated with a simple moisturizer like Neutrogena that won't clog pores. Wash it only TWICE a day. I wash my face in the morning with Cetaphil and at night I use a Neutrogena Acne product and Neutrogena Toner and it's working out great for me.
Another thing is you should avoid junk foods that are oily and fatty like choco, mayo, fast foods, pizza, fries, candy, and sweets of any sort. Eat a lot of veggies, fruits, and drink lots of water and green tea. Haha, yes, green tea is uber fantabulous for your whole body in and out.
Also, tkae a shower or at least wash your hair every day and keep it out of your face, don't touch your face, and don't pop them because it will cause your face to break out more and leave scars.
Let me guess, you go to the dermo right? I hated Benzaclin and Differin because they dried/irritated my skin horribly and made it so rough and horrible feeling. So I just stopped going and washed my face with Cetaphil until it was all smoother and softer.
One thing you can do is put green tea on your face. It really helps to keep your pores small and smooth your skin while helping with the acne. Just mix in organic green tea with water, cool it down to room temp, and splash it on your face for a short period of time. [ ductape_n_roses's advice column | Ask ductape_n_roses A Question ]
LiSaxOBaBii answered Saturday December 9 2006, 10:25 pm: I know it's easy to ignore the advice I'm about to give, but stop cleansing your face!! It's becoming dried out. My face was breaking out because of my obsession with fooling around with various skin products. I've barely put anything on my face and it's looking the best it has in months. Drink some water to hydrate your skin. [ LiSaxOBaBii's advice column | Ask LiSaxOBaBii A Question ]
