I'm 15 years old. My hair is really thick. I get it thinned but it's still sooooo thick. Is there anything I could do about this problem. My hair is always poofy unless I straighten it before I go to bed and restraighen it when I wake up. Please let me know of anything to calm down my poof problem and some cute hair styles and hair do's.

Also, try cutting in some layers. It'll make your hair seem less thick.. and if you don't like them, they grow out! =)
Pantene Smooth and Sleek, and Sunsilk for Kinky hair (purple bottle) work really well too. They make my hair less poofy & frizzy and just all that annoying stuff we don't like to deal with.
Hairstyles to try:
- half-up, half down in a ponytail (your hair may be too thick for a clip to hold)
- scrunched with hairgel and shine serum
- Low pigtails. Some people CAN actually pull this look off after the age of seven.. try it! Worth ten seconds, no?
- Side ponytail. Hopefully self-explanatory; this style is very simple and looks polished yet not overdone. It's really cute if your hair's curly.
- Try just straightening & nothing else. But only in the morning. It'll do a lot less damage to your hair that way.
- Always finish with a little hairspray. It'll set your style & keep moisture out (which will frizz your hair and make it seem thicker!)

If you like to wear it straight you can get it permanently relaxed but that can be kind of pricy so if you dont want to do that, the "frizz ease" system works good on frizzy hair to eliminate the frizz and once you straighten it you can put it in it to keep it straight. On days you dont feel like straightening your hair you can shower, put some gel in it (I like Garnier Fructise) and dry it with a defuser.
