Now, if you want good definition, you need to use your muscles. Sports can help, but i would recommend doing weights at the gym. You will build a little lean mass, it will tighten your body up a bit, and it will raise your metabolism making fat loss easier.
As for eating, you need to eat often. Try to eat 5 meals a day or so, which means eating every 3-4 hours. Eat a small balanced meal each time and drink plenty of water. This will also work wonders on the metabolism and it will give you more energy. Remember to eat a fair amount of protein and to eliminate saturated fats as much as possible (do get your essential fatty acids though... i.e. fish, nuts, olive oil, olives, flax oil, canola etc).
If you stop eating you will cause real damage to your metabolism. Its the fitness equivalent of shooting yourself in the foot. Your body will go into starvation mode and eat up your muscle mass first. This will make your body look much worse, it will leave you weak and it will make you regain the weight (in pure fat) the minute you being to eat again.

Your weight and height sound perfect, so you shouldn't be worried aobut that. You'd actually be undweight if you weighed any less.
