i saw eraserhead and thought it was badass...it has inspired me to start watching more good under the radar movies...where should i start? i'm thinking of watching dead or alive next...throw your suggestions and reviews at me!!! thanks in advance :)
Try to venture into world cinema too, eg all the Dogme movies esp. Festen(Swedish/Danish), then look to places like the far east for good horror films, south america for crime/urban, french for a wide variety of genres... If you liked Eraserhead then you'll probably like a lot of stuff by David Lynch too, and also David Cronenberg. Also try Bad Boy Bubby (Australian)

Okay try seeing Stranger Than Fiction, it has Will Ferrel in it about a man who's life is being narrated, or maybe Underworld Evolution and the first one, they have alot of blood and gore in them, ot even Van Helsing. Those are all i can think of right now. Hope i helped! [ cutie42493's advice column | Ask cutie42493 A Question ]
angie91 answered Sunday December 3 2006, 5:16 pm: Well I'm not really sure what kinds of movies you are looking for, but if you go to www.imdb.com they have a list of pretty much every movie, and most of them have reviews, so you can hear from experts, and normal people about different movies. It's good if you know what movie you want to see and then search it but if you know you want to see a movie with a certain actor, you can search the actor and find all the movies he's in, same with a producer etc, and they have lots of different pictures, comments and chats. So you can compare movies with others. Hope I helped. Love,
