My Mother
I have no privacy in my house because of my mother.When I started my period for the first time she told my dad!I mean I understand yeah some time or another he's ganna figure out I have it but he has a big mouth!Now my holl family in and out've my house know's what happens in the bathroom.And there questioning why Im being so rude to my parents!I hate it my diarys been read, my stories EVERYTHING I cant have anything to myself.So yes i have stopped writing in my diary and kept my poems in a hidden binder along with my stories.Last friday I brought home my report card from school and got a's and b's I got in on top of the fridge jasons avg is a D OMG IM SO PROUD and huged him.She thinks im not even here she only likes my cause i cleaned the house.

I know how you feel. And the truth is, we all feel like that at some point. I used to write my deepest thoughts in a diary, until I suspected my mom reading it, then I ripped it up. Get a diary with a lock, and hide it in a box somewhere in your closet or in you drawer. All women get their period, and you shouldn't have to feel embarrassed. Chances are they don't really care about it that much, they are proud that you are growing up. :)

I know you're not going to like this answer, but you just have to deal with it. Its not like you can tell your mom to stop, because she's your mom. Although I definitely understand where you're coming from-- my mom did the same thing, she even told my grandmother! Just be thankful that your mother isn't as bad as she could be-- my friend's mom told EVERYONE when my friend got her first period, and I mean EVERYONE. Even her neighbors found out! So yeah, be thankful for what you have.
About the diary-- you can still write in it, but hide it someplace else. Maybe under your bed?
