This is something that's always bugged me:How come celebrities can admit to taking drugs or whatever in interviews, but no legal action is taken?Does it have something to do with needing physical evidence or what?
Kirbz answered Saturday December 2 2006, 6:16 am: In the same sense that I could say that someone I know smokes pot, and they probably wouldn't have anything aginst them. I know celebrities are different in that sense, but word of mouth is really weak when it comes to drug offenses. They need the hard evidence. [ Kirbz's advice column | Ask Kirbz A Question ]

Even though it seems like they all get away with it, there has been celebrities who have been put in jail for drugs. Some celebrities were underage at the time the did drugs, so they were put in rehab. Still, it doesn't seem fair that the law doesn't go looking for evidence on lots of celebrities. Oh well =] [ snickerzz11's advice column | Ask snickerzz11 A Question ]

they dont have the actual drugs that were in their possetion at the time, so legally their safe. now if they got pulled over while havin a doobie or hittin some veins, then yah they'd get taken in. [ god-smusgrove's advice column | Ask god-smusgrove A Question ]

karenR answered Friday December 1 2006, 4:58 pm: Plenty of them have been caught and jailed.
You have it right though. It isn't enough for them to just admit using drugs. If the law wants to lock them them up they need some good hard evidence. :) [ karenR's advice column | Ask karenR A Question ]
