Lead/ Ink Poisoning

Nope, you can't get lead/ink poisoning. First, lead in pencils isn't actually lead :D It's actually graphite. Second, the ink in pens are usually non-toxic and you'd have to drink (that means you have to actually ingest this for it to work) an ounce or so for anything severe to happen. Printer ink, however, is slightly toxic. I've been looking up this stuff too, since I write on my hands a lot :P

No you can NOT get lead or ink poisoning. I myself have made a homeade tattoo gun, and used to ink from regualar writing pens, and did ManY tattoos on me and my friends. And not one of us has had ink poisoning. You only can get it if you consume at least an once of ink, then you might have a probelm. But as far as just getting stabed, (and may i add, i saw classmates get stabed with pencils and the lead get stut in their skin) You absolutely will not get poisoning.

I doubt you'll have a problem. Pencils are made with graphite now. Plus, my dad's had a LEAD pencil tip stuck in his hand for 30 years, and he's fine.

Pen ink is non-toxic. It might make you SICK, but I've had friends swallow large amounts of the stuff and they were fine.

Your biggest problem would be possible infection (from piercing the skin) so wash it with soap, Neosporin/bacitracian/BandAid it & I'm confident you'll live through this ordeal =P

well you're in luck because lead isn't used in pencils anymore. they use a substance called Graphite so you cant get poisoned.

and as far as ink poisining goes, it really depends on how far the pen went in. and how much it bled, but i highly doubt you could get ink poisining.

good luckk=]]
