Can you get lead or ink poisoning by accedently stabbing yourself with a pen or pencil and it starts to bleed? If yes, how do you know that you have been poisioned? Is it lethal? (link)
Nope, you can't get lead/ink poisoning. First, lead in pencils isn't actually lead :D It's actually graphite. Second, the ink in pens are usually non-toxic and you'd have to drink (that means you have to actually ingest this for it to work) an ounce or so for anything severe to happen. Printer ink, however, is slightly toxic. I've been looking up this stuff too, since I write on my hands a lot :P
