Question Posted Thursday November 30 2006, 4:56 pm
Alright, So I have a BMI is 23.21. I'm about 5'3 and I way 131 pounds.
My main issue is my stomache, the rest of my body I think looks pretty good.
I have a fat stomache, I've been doing crunches, sit ups, trying to eat healthier. Can anyone suggest anymore good ideas? Or workouts? Or types of food that increaces your matabolism?(sp)
But my main question is if I keep working on my stomache, and running, and exercising, through the this year, and during the summer, maybe by next school year I will be skinnier?
I want a flat stomache:(
[if seems like i'm the only fat girl.. I mean im not like REALLY FAT, but it seems everygirl I see, has a flat stomache, and isnt fat at all. And I see other people but its either they are skinny and have flat tummys or they are obvoiusly really obese. I dont think its obvious for me, but when I wear a bathing suit, my stomache isnt flat.
I want my stomache to be as flat as like where my underwear is? Like above my crotch, this sounds bad, but I mean like I want my stomache to be flat and match up and be completely flat. Like if i wear a bathing suit, theres not roll.
Additional info, added Thursday November 30 2006, 5:00 pm: Here is a picture of what I want,
It is Kristin from laguna beaches body..
but I dont need TONED abs, I just want a flat stomache, dont take what I'm saying the wrong way either.
I just want to burn the fat, so I can have a flat stomache and be able to wear bikinis without feeling selfconsious.

Don't work yourself too hard, either.
Be happy with your body. I'm about your height and weight, and I love my body. I have a pretty flat stomach, except for my "gut," the area right above my crotch, like you. Most of my weight got distributed to my hips, thighs, and butt instead of my stomach. (Yes, I have a big butt! lol) So yeah. I bet that as soon as you get close to being that thin, you'll want to be curvy. Really think about it, and consider what you'd feel like in all situations. Good luck =) [ infatuatedxxglamour's advice column | Ask infatuatedxxglamour A Question ]
TinkerbellsHelp answered Thursday November 30 2006, 9:13 pm: Okay, so basically your not fat. Your not overweight. And you shouldnt call yourself (or anyone esle) fat.
If you want to lose weight, exercise at least 3 days a week for 45 minutes, cut out soda and sugary juices, eat healthily, and keep doing crunches. Do this for 2 weeks and if you havent lost any weight then stop it because its obviously not working for you, even though it is the healthy way to lose weight. curliecue answered Thursday November 30 2006, 8:05 pm: If you want to burn fat, then do long cardio workouts. They burn the most calories. But you can't do that alone. You also have to do some resistance or weight training, which you are doing (situps, crunches). I suggest also doing some lunges, squats, and pushups. These will build muscle, which will be important in speeding up your metabolism. If you build muscle all over your body, the muscle will burn the extra fat in your stomach, even if the muscle is somewhere else. Eating right is important, so keep that up. Drink plenty of water, because that speeds up your metabolism too. Hope this helps you! [ curliecue's advice column | Ask curliecue A Question ]
