But my partner and I did our project on the effect of flavored water on carnations.
We just took four different flavors (raspberry, lemon, strawberry, regular) and watered the carnations for a week with them. We had to see which flower lived the longest.
Its simple and got it done and out of the way.
If you need any higher level projects inbox me and I can help you out.

Hydrogen will come off one end, oxygen off the other(you can tell the difference because there'll be more H). Be careful, when mixed, hydrogen and oxygen is kinda flammable, possible pretty explosive-like. If you capture the bubbles, do so in something not glass, if it ignites the glass will shatter and blind you. If you light the bottom of a container(plastic or something) holding the pure H that comes off, it'll make a clean, steady flame. [ theymos's advice column | Ask theymos A Question ]
