There are two good choices for non strenuous exercise and they work great for weight loss. especially if your weight is what is keeping you from exercising.

You also need to watch portion sizes and sugary snacks!

Walking is very good exercise. You don't have to jog. Just start slowly and go a little further each
week.

Anything in water. Swimming is good. IF you know how. If you don't, some places like the YMCA offer
water aerobics. Its easy on the joints and looks like fun too!

I notice you didn't get a lot of answers. You might try asking an inbox question to MikeCFT who is a fitness trainer and could probably give you a much better answer anyway. I will hunt for the link and add it on. :)

To lose weight you don't need anything too strenuous... you don't want to work yourself too hard. One thing that you can do that really works well is to just do crunches every day. Just a couple of months ago, i started to do 100 crunches every day. I did 50 normal crunches, and 25 off to each side. I wasn't really ever overweight, but it does help me feel energized and it burns off all of the extra calories that you don't need. You don't even need to do this many, even if you only did 25 a day, i'm sure it would still help quite a bit. You just need to set a goal, and keep it. That's the main thing here... you can't just slack off, or it doesn't really help you out.
One other thing that works really well, that i love to do, is just jog around my block. It REALLY gets you energized and ready for the day. If you feel tired a lot, then i suggest this, because it helps soo much!
Just remember not to push yourself too hard. Go at your own pace. And remember to set goals for yourself.

A good exercise that is good for burning fat is bridges, in which you lie on your stomach, then put both hands underneath you while they are clasped, and lift your body with only your elbow to hand and your toes touching the floor. Hold for 30 sec.- 2 minutes. :]
