Scavenger hunt...

I want to do a scavenger hunt as a way to give my boyfriend his Christmas gift but I don't know what to do..
I need some ideas on how to do it. I'm clueless.

well you could make the clues riddles and have little hints at the end of them. For Example:
From Me To You
In a small closed place
Lies your first clue
It speeds up your foods' pace
"Hint"
It deals with numbers

if you guys are sexually active and are really opened about sex, you could give him a scaveneger hunt.(inside when nobodys home) when he walks in, there should be a picture of you on the floor with all your clothes on, and as he walks around and follows the picture, each picture he see's is a picture of you with one less piece of clothing on. finally, he'll come into the room and you'll be there completely clotheless. good, eh?

Me and my friend just made a scavanger hunt not too long ago for the guy she liked, and it was really cute.
Instead of just making it boring old clues like "check a place where you make food" or something like that, we tried our best to incooperate memories and good times and everything.
Like, for example, to find the next clue, we put "all the times I fell asleep on you", and we taped the next clue under the pillow or something. Another we did,"the first time we ever met" and they met on the internet, so we taped an envelope on the side of the computer.
You jsut got to the make them a little hard to find, but slightly easy cause if the guy can't find it, it's not that cute anymore whenever you have to go get it yourself and show it to him, haha.
And then maybe make the last present on you, and make the clue,"find something that loves you more than anything else in the world." And just have the present hidden in your hand depending on how small it is, if it's rather big just during the scavenger, tell him you'll be right back you got to go to the bathroom or something, and grab the present and move down to a location near him, so whenever he finds you, you'll be standing there with your gift behind your back.
I just think it'd be slightly more romantic that way, and a cute way to remind him of all the wonderful times you two have spent together, and why you love him so much.

I'm not sure if you'd consider this a scavenger hunt, but it's fun!
Make him a trail... Give him a small box with a piece of paper that says something like, "look in the microwave." Then another slip of paper in the microwave will say another clue like "In my shoe." The types of clues you have will depend on where you do it. You could throw in some fun ones like, "In my bra." lol...
