Dark Spot I have a dark spot of discoloration in my breast cleavage, closer to my left breast. It sometimes blends into the rest of my skin and only the outline of it is darker, so it looks like a ring but when you look closer, the skin inside is a little darker.
It appeared about a few years ago as a slight spot and it grew a little bigger and darker until it was the size of a penny and it's been like that for the past year.
When I scratch it, it scratches off like it's going to come off but when I shower, it's back again.
Any idea what this could be? I've googled it but can't find anything close.

Well, I used to get these tiny little black spots on my feet, and then I wuld pick them off, (I was a little kid) and they looked like they were gone for good, but then a few weeks later they would come back and there would be like double that amount. Then After a few months I told my mom and she took me to the doctor, it turned out to be some kind of skin thing. I took medication for a couple of days and they never came back.
So it might be something like that, however mine never grew, but I only had them a couple of months not a couple of years. It's probably nothing, but if you are really worried/curious, I'd go to my doctor and get him to check it out. It might be something more than just a skin thing.
Hopefully not though. Hope everythings okay.

That's very interesting, maybe it's an ingrown mole or something? but if you feel ill at ease then tell your mother and go see a doctor. could be something you don't want to wait up on you know? hope this helps and good luck. ]
It could be sunspots. I have the same thing but they are lighter than my skin. Go to your doctor and ask him about it. My doctor recommended using Selsun Blue on the spots and exposing them to the sun (made by the sun, killed by the sun) and he gave me a perscription cream (I have no idea what it's called) and it really works for me. The only problem is, you have to put the cream on them EVERY day and it becomes a bit of a hassle. ]
