Periods.
Why is it sometimes when I'm on my period that my er, thing down there is REALLY sore? I've had my period since I was 11 and I'm now 16; I'm also a virgin.

You're normal. A lot of girls feel pain "down there" while on their period. It's probably because you have a heavy flow, nothing to be worried about though.

A lot of girls get like that & it's normal. If you use tampons and have a heavy flow, that's why.

If you have a heavy flow, this may be causing it.
If you're using a tampon, that might also be irritating it. Pads can, too, especially if your period is long and you have pads on for long amounts of time.

I think this has to do with the type of tampons you use or maybe it's because you have a heavy period & too much blood is flowing out of you.
