I think that the lights might have effected your eyes because those UV lighty things ( sorry i dont know what there called) are really powerful. I was wicked stupid and for a while when i went tanning i didnt even wear goggles i just kept my eyes shut and that alone can make you blind. You should see a doctor as soon as you can..

good luck!

Yes, the UV rays are very powerful so there is a huge chance our eyes were hurt from them. 2 minutes is a long time considering the average time you should spend in a tanning booth is 10 minutes.
But if you think you might have Pink Eye, that is a possibility too.
On both hands, you need to see a doctor. Try to make an appointment as soon as you can. If I were you, I'd head over to the ER right away. There's no point in taking chances when it comes to you eyesight.

If UV light is intense enough, it will fry your eyes. I'm not sure if you have pink eye, because I think that pink eye usually itches. But it's not a bad idea to get your own goggles.

If you use the salon's goggles, it is very possible you got pink eye from them (you should buy your own set for about $5 and then you'll always know where they've been). When I used to tan, I never wore goggles (although I certainly don't recommend this) and never had any problems with my eyes. I seriously doubt your ocular problem is from taking off the goggles.

Maybe if you think it is Pinkeye go to a doctor or other whys you need to stop using the tanning bed for a while. It will also give you skin cancer.
