Make-up and Shaving
Not sure if this is the right place to put this..
I want to see how make up will look on me, because im 13 and the only make up thats really gone on me is lip gloss. like.. what do you need to do and get to like to the mascara, foundations, etc. Also, any tips on it? like what good colors would look on me and etc. I'm black, but not light or dark. like in the middle..
Also, my mom isnt too comfortable about me shaving or anything, but like my whole body is really hairy. could I get a wax at such a young age? idk.. and how much money will it be? or what else could I do that wont hurt me (razors? unless theres good ones or idk) or something.. and im pretty low on cash, so they cant be like more than 30 dollars..

Hey. Well first off you want to test all of this on the weekend so you can just shower and it has time to come off and like..yeah. As for shaving, if your mom doesnt want you to shave you can always get one of those cremes like nair or veet that remove hair without a razor. For makeup, you want too make it so that people can barely tell you have it on, do what you think looks good on you and get some opinions from friends. ♥ Kathleen

To answer your first question on make-up i would recommend to go to your local Nordstrums and go to one of the make-up counters such as Mac or Chanel. They can put the make-up on for you and tell you what colors look best on you, they can match your shade to their foundations and the actual stores for MAC and CHANEL give lessons on how to apply make-up which I think is pretty awesome.
I think shaving is terrible, it makes your prickly like a mans chin and you get shaving burns and other irritation. I wax personally, I do legs, eyebrows, underarms and brazillian. It's quite painfull at first and some parts where the root is more thick and especially if it's your first time. Waxing can range in prices, but if you were looking to wax your legs it would probably go over 30. All shavers are the same, except for the razorless nair/veet ones but i hear that some people get irritations for the creams.

and for the shavin you can try the nair hair removal cream you dont need a razer you just put on the cream and then wait for like 4 minutes and wash it off with a rag and all yer hair will be gone its like shavin cream but without the razer and it doesn't hurt or burn you

Ok i am 13 too, so i kinda know where you are. I wear lip gloss, ,mascara, and eye liner. You can never really go wrong with those three things, they only make you look better. No foundation! No blush! We both have beautiful chocolate skin, you dont need foundartion or blush! These can make you look worse. Shiny lip glosses, and natural colors look good. No dark colors. I would reccomend pinks too. My mom reccomended wax for me, but it looked painful. I did my eye brows, and it kinda hurt. I can deal with that pain, but not on the legs or any where else. You can use disposable rasors. They are really cheap, and you can use them more than once. Oh, and dont use like NAIR or VEET cuz it burns, and it smells really bad. I hope i helped! By the way, you can always go natural,and you can never mess that up. :)
