Good arguments that atheists might use against religious people, usually Christians? I deal with a lot of rather annoying fundamentalists.
(And if you are going to answer this by telling me how I need to let "god's love into my heart", then please press the back button on your browser now. There's a pretty good chance you sicken me."
well you COULD say that, but i suggest you simply say you may have your opinion and ill have mine. respect and exceptance is important in organized civilization, and if the religious people arent willing to except it, then they're just animals [ and people like us can silently laugh in their face ]

I'll be honest, I don't know a lot about atheism. I know more about Agnostics because I have friends who are. But I don't judge them based on their religion, that's God's place. Christians who fire off at non-Christians fire me up. They give bad reputations to those who are striving to do the will of God.
Don't judge all Christians based on a few. There's more to Christianity that 'closed-mindness'. We have hope and concern for those who aren't Christians. At least, true Christians do. I'll pray for you and I honestly do hope that you let God's love into your heart. It's an amazing feeling. [ smackywacky16's advice column | Ask smackywacky16 A Question ]

[I'm religious, if you didn't get the hint.]I simply just tell them, "Because its what I believe & I don't need you trying to tell me I'm wrong. You won't change my mind" Thats all I say, personally.. I'd just ignore it. [ holahayley56's advice column | Ask holahayley56 A Question ]
NyadesRoadGhost answered Saturday November 11 2006, 4:27 pm: Just state what you believe. A common question athiests are asked is if they worship satan. A good response to that, I think would simply be "I don't believe in your good guy. Why would I believe in your bad guy?"
But for other arguments people might use, you don't owe them
reasons for your path. Just tell them that you believe what you see and know, and their faiths aren't for you. If they ask why, just tell them that you know discussing it would cause an argument, and you'd rather not start any altercations with them.

So if you can forgive me, I'm just going to link you to that question since I know I can't put it as well as it already has been by Saint_Gasoline and TheOldOne:
