If say I got out for a nice dinner at a very nice place (I'm talking like guys have to wear jackets/ties and it's atleast a $80 a person) with my parents and my 21-year-old brother. If they all order wine, am I allowed to have any if my parents say it's okay, or will the restaurant have a problem with it? I'm 17.

The restaurant may not card you, but they would be REALLY stupid to not do it. I mean, I cant say much, I get my underaged friend into a bar every week, but I'm just saying don't get your hopes up. Anyways, wine is gross. [ sillyrob's advice column | Ask sillyrob A Question ]

Some wont say anything if there is an adult present, but you cannot assume - a lot of places nowadays are fairly paranoid about losing their license for alcohol. It might very well come down to the server, whether or not the management pushes the issue, and if the employees are afraid of coming right out and asking for ID's at the table. Some places wont, its a bit...well, some would say rude.
Also I wouldn't think Wine to be that much of an issue usually. I'd see what happens; at worse, they might tell your father to 'please refrain from giving your son any alcohol'. Thats the worst I can think of, they wont like call the police on you. Plus, will your father even give you any? If your father thinks its ok, you shouldn't even stress about it...let your father worry about it. [ Erronius's advice column | Ask Erronius A Question ]

I am going to guess they may not bring you a wine glass. However if mom or dad give you some in a regular glass, they probably won't say anything.
Though they could get fined if caught allowing it. :) [ karenR's advice column | Ask karenR A Question ]
