Hey guys I'm a 14/f,
So Im trying to decide whether I should date this guy. I have a crush on him and he likes me but he also dated my best friend. But the two major things that I'm having doubts about is that
1. my parents are really strict and its better just not to tell them that I'm dating someone. So I would have to sneak or lie.
2. lots of people dont like this guy and they say he is like an asshole. But the thing is that I think the only reason he does this is because he is insecure about himself and he is nice to me and my friends.
So should I date him? thnx so much!

your parents are going to have to accept the fact that you are fourteen & will have a boyfriend sooner or later.
it shouldn't matter what other people tell you about him, find out for yourself what he is like first, before judging.

But, since you are a minor and all, considering, you may want to follow your parents' rules, and basing on the comments of your friends...well, that's your call. (Are they saying that because they're jealous, or because it's true?) Follow your heart;; and if I were you, I would give it your best shot. (:

if you like him then it should matter what other people think, and your friend shouldnt really care unless she still likes him.And about your parents i wouldnt sneak and lie just dont tell them everything.
