Unknown Caller
For the past 4 days I've been getting an "unknown caller" showing up on my call display. This has never happened before. Usually when someone calls their name or phone number will show up; like it might say "private caller" but then have the number. Well the weird thing is whenever this"unknown caller" shows up and I answer; whoever is on the other line never talks to me- I usually will say "hello- hello-- hello? and then I hang up. This was the third time this has happened to me in the last 3 days. Also; I check my missed calls and this "unknown caller" has also phoned when I've been out and has not left a message. My gut is telling me it's my loser ex. I think this is because he has also been getting friends of his to come into the store I work at and they just stare at me. Do you guys think I'm right? I don't know who else would be that creepy- maybe he's not ready to talk yet but wants to hear my voice; and he doesnt want me to know it's him so he's been phoning from a line that would say "unknown caller'.

either it is a prank or something is going to happen if it really is scraying you then get the police to trace the call and they will find the person calling you. weiod calls dont bother me that much but i would get them looked at.

i get those all the time!! its so annoying!! its just tele-marketing, so, basically, its just a stupid machine. if you dont pick it up, then it will leave a silent message on your phone. everytime you get these calls, just say "take me off your list" and the calls are recorded and THAT tele-marketer will stop calling you.

Well, let me ask you this. Do you ever get a sales call right after these calls from and "unknown caller"? Because usually that's a machine calling to see if you're home. If you pick up, a salesman calls. If you don't then nobody calls because they think you aren't home.

It's probably a telemarketer. Don't look too deeply into it. As far as I know, there's no way to trick caller ID into hiding the number. If there was your ex probably wouldn't be smart enough to figure it out. Plus, if it was an ex, this probably would have started sooner after you broke up and he wouldn't call that much. It'd be more like once a day. If it is a telemarketer, the calls should stop soon. If they don't, contact your phone company and maybe they can get it to stop for you. Don't answer it next time, it's just wasting your time. Good luck. :)

Ok. Well this is very creepy. Now, it MAY be your ex, but it made me suspicious when you said that his friends come and stare at you, and that you get these 'unknown' calls. I'm afraid to say this, but either your ex and his friends are stalking you, or someone is. Those calls are very unhealthy and if it continues for a long time, you'll need to take action. Therefore, do NOT answer the calls. When his friends come in the store, confront them while someone is nearby [so they don't do anything stupid] and tell them that if they're not going to buy anything, they need to leave. And that is that.

There is a possibility it's your ex. He probably isn't over the fact y'all broke up and he's probably still hurting. I would just ignore the calls and don't answer them. If he can't show his name and number, then why waste your time?
