ok i have this friend in 8th grade and she's reallyy cute and all but she's had soo many boyfriends and it's really annoying. and she claims they're all hot too and stuff. me on the other hand-i'm a freshman and i've like never had a boyfriend. and not to sound conceited but i think i'm prettier than her.. seriously my other friend who knows us both thinks so too and i dont know =/ but yeah whats up with that?
and also i have homecoming soon and im birnging that same 8th grade girl and another friend and they both are looking for hot guys in my grade lol. if that OTHER girl got a boyfriend in my grade or whatever i could seriously be happy for her but that 8thgrader.. idk if she got one i could not be happy for her. it's weird. i dont get it. but yeah, and i just don't understand why guys like her so much i mean she's cute but she's reallyy shy and she's way too skinny.

Alot of girls have this sort of situation. For some reason the one friend tends to get all the guys, and the other one may be prettier and sits there and wonders,"...why?"
I've wondered this too myself, really, and I'm not even quite too sure as to why. There could be loads of reasons. Even though she's shy, whenever guys might get to know her, they might find her funny or something or sweet ( and I'm not saying you're not ). Or, maybe if she's brunette and your blonde, they might prefer brunettes over blondes, blue eyes over green eyes, etc. Some guys even find that type of "way too skinny" even attractive.. some how. So she just might have a certain.. quirk, I guess you'd say, about her that guys might be really attracted to. I don't know, sometimes there's just something about people whenver you see them that makes you instantly like them wether it be pyshical appearance or emotional or what.
Also, I know I'm going to sound like a mother, but the guys might be intimidated by you. They might think,"Oh, she'd never go out with me","Oh, she's probably already taken ; I don't want to get rejected." They might think you're too good for them. I remember talking to my one guy friend once and they even told me,"I used to like you, but I never wanted to ask you out cause I didn't think you'd want to go out with me." Which infact I did like them while they liked me, but anyways, not about me here, lol.
So like I said, there could be thousands of reasons. It's just the way guys are. There could be a girl whose a complete jerk, and for some reason guys will still like her. It's just whatever type of personality the guy has and the type of personality they prefer on a girl.
Whenever you're hanging around her, just try and talk to the guys more, and flirt with them a little bit more than she does, to try and catch their attention and show them what you have, and what she doesn't.
