Basically, and single either found a hole in the infield, was a liner to the outfield, or a blooper.
A double is either down the line, off the wall, or between the right fielder and center fielder or left fielder and center fielder.
A triple means you have legs. Either an outfielder screwed up or your name is Grady Sizemore, but somehow, you stretched a double into a triple.
A homerun is outta the park. Gone. Unless it's an inside the parker. Which is excluseivly for those that run like they just stole a VCR or an outfielder dove into a wall and the ball bounced half way back to the infield.
