iTrip

Question Posted Thursday October 12 2006, 3:09 pm

I use an itrip to listen to music in the car. Sometimes it sounds good, but a lot of the time its really fuzzy and staticky and nothing i do helps it. What should i do to make it not staticky and fuzzy?

If it gets fuzzy that means the station you're using is getting interference from some other source. You may be using a station that actually has a radio station on it. What I do is find a frequency that is completely static-ee then set my itrip to that station. It gets better reception.

I wouldn't really rely on something called "itrip" to listen to my music.

Well there not be anything for you to do - it just might be the location of where you're driving. Sometimes if you're driving through a valley or the mountains, the reception from the towers gets blocked, and causes static and fuzzy sounds. That's why cellphones tend to get hung up and you lose reception because things are blocking the waves and everything.

Also, I googled to see if other's are having this problem:

And a few people said theirs are doing it too, so it just might not be that great of a product. But I bet you it's mostly because of the bad reception you might be recieving whenever you're driving around in your car.

I hope I helped.
