The guy won't care how your breath smells unless you just ate something very smelly/disgusting like a bean-burrito smothered in onions and topped with fish bits.
As long as you DO brush your teeth regularly.. O_o; And chew a mint after you eat, you should be fine, really.

And if you wanna chew gum to make your breath smell better, don't chew it for too long, I heard it makes your breath smell worse, something about the sweat glands or some shitt. But yeah.

x Hope I helped.

Good hygene works. Try a prebrush rinse before you brush for it to be more effective. Make sure your mouthwash, prebrush rinse, and toothpaste are sugar and alchol free. Sugar and alchol will make your breath stink. Floss, and try a tounge scraper to get plauge off your tounge. Brush at least twice a day, and after meals that would make your breath stink like onions, garlic and stuff. At least chew sugarfree gum, or pop sugarfree mints. That wont make your breath stink.

Well, I don't think you can really hate or like a person's breath, haha but I doubt it's that smelly unless you just ate something really rank or didn't brush your teeth.

So what I suggest so get rid of your worries is just before you leave, go and brush your teeth and also brush your tongue to just get everything all nice and clean, and buy some mints beforehand and pop a few in before you leave, and maybe when you guys are on the date so ensure no stinky breath.

I hope I helped.

This may seem wierd/stupid but when it comes to kissing guys dont care about your breath, i mean they do they dont want it to smell nasty..but when their goin in for the kiss the last thing on their mind is what your breath smells like. hes just as nervous as you are. DONT chew gum before the kiss because i read somewhere that it just makes your breath even worst. Carry around those listerine pocket things or mints. Hope i helped!
