What eye color :] ?
So I'm thinking of getting colored contacts, but I have two questions!
1) How much more expensive are they then normal ones?
2) What color should I get?
I have really dark brown eyes, & dark brown hair,
I'm thinking of maybe some greens? or lighter browns?
Any opinions?

BUT i definately think that bright blue eyes on a brunette is GORGEOUS!! or light light green.. thats really pretty too.. i guess it depends on your skin tone too.. but like. if your dark with dark hair.. go for reallyy light.

If you have a really dark brown eyes, don't even bother. I tried getting colored contacts with my dark brown eyes, and it just made my pupils look freaky.

I just got colored contacts about a month ago. I'm not sure how much more they are, but I don't think it is a lot more. I have dark hair and dark eyes too, and i have blue contacts. Actually the color is called 'topaz'. They look kind of freaky and just like different but after awhile you get really used to them. I love them and all the time I get complements about how pretty my eyes are. Some people actually think they look real. They do stand out, but if you don't want them that obvious, I think hazel would be pretty or like a light honey brown! At my eye place they let me try on a few colors to see which one I liked the most. You could ask if they would let you do that too! That's just my opinion but I think you should pick if you want something natural like most eye colors, or something a little different =]

okay..so..
question 1: contacts are usually about 20$ not including tax ect. and you can get trail free pair.
but you have to get an exam so if u have a recent eye exam you can get them. if you have 20/20 vision then all they would need to do is measure the dynamics of your eye so they can find which ones will fit you best.
yes, if u havent had a recent exam it might be a bit expensive. mine just about 100$
the people at the contact place though, should give you all kinds of free trails to try on if you are persistant in a certain color you want
if you need a perscription theyre a lot easier to get online because sometimes, getting them online you cant get some without a perscription because they are kinda bad for your eyes.
question 2: seeing as you have really dark brown eyes and dark brown hair if you want to go subtle id get a lighter brown to accent your hair.
if you are looking for a drastic change id go with an ocean blue or jade green.

i personally have red hair with natural blonde highlights and light green/blue eyes.
i wanted my eyes to look more blue like sky blue the way they usually do when i dont wear makeup and stuff. so i asked for the enhancers because those are for light eyes...and it didnt really do much to my eye...because my eye just happened to be the same color as the sky blue one.
then they let me try an ocean blue one...and it really really stood out but it was so dark it didnt really look that natural.
i guess im not really going for completely natural but...i think im going to get ones called "Angelic"
those definetly have a changing effect.
