I am a size 10-12 23 year old girl. Halloween is my favorite holiday and I always have a huge bash. I STRESS over my costume because I want to wear the sexy costumes, and I'm not an idiot, I realize that most of them I just can't wear. My questions are as follows: I have a very curvy hourglass-leaning-towards-pear-shaped figure and I'm SHORT. Most of the sexy costumes are super short, so this year I've decided to wear a long shredded sexy costume with a big slit all the way up. Ok question: I'm definetley going to wear some type of tights or panty hose, probably fishnets. I really like the fence nets though (the holes are bigger). Because the holes are bigger, would this make my legs look even bigger? Should I stick with fishnets? Should I go with plain black with the seams up the back? Sorry this is neurotic and thanks!

if it fits kinda snug or something just a get a large or xl. it should fit and look really cute on you as well. they have tons of costumes that are supposed to be cute but are more on the side of provocative on sale :)

Hi i'm 13 and whenever I apply eyeliner to the skin right above my bottom lashes, it doesn't look right. This is what I do: I only apply it 3/4 of the way across, I do a thin line, and I also tried to do a thick line, i try to go lightly. I thought maybe the problem was the the color (black) so I tried brown. Brown didn't even show up because I think the moistness of my eye. I used N.Y.C eyeliner. I have dark blue eyes and brown hair. What could I be doing wrong?

try using a different eyeliner i use covergirls perfect point plus eye pencial in onyx and i have veryyy light blue green eyes with red hair and natural blonde highlights.
if i wanna go for dramatic i wear it on the outside and inside of my eye. it def. makes a difference.
if you are going for just subtle. try using it just in the inside...it also makes your eyes look smaller.
but if you wear it on the outside dont just go 3/4ths of the way go all the way across ur eye with a medium line if u want it to show.

lol well popularity isnt everything but if you are looking for change. id say go to a drug store, like walgreens and eckards..and get some makeup. try some foundation with like blush or bronzer and then some mascarra and eyeliner.
what color eyes do you have?

the definetion of popular is having lots of friends.
if you want lots of friends...be yourself. and go out and be a social butterfly.
but do NOT change yourself for anyone...its really not worth it

Whenever I put my hair up [using a hair band] in something like a ponytail, it usually falls down soon after. How do you put your hair up and use your band to make it tight abnd sturdy, and so that it stay for a long period of time?

it may hurt if your tender headed but put keep pulling and tying it around your hair until its nice and tight. if you want it to stay up longer i also would try putting it into a high pony tail so when it falls down if any it will just be a little bit and not really mess up your hair.

After I straighten my hair it goes wavy after like 10min. Then I straighten it again, and it gets better. Still I want it straight the first time, does anybody now any tips I could use?

try using gel or keeping it on your hair longer. but be careful because using a straightener too much can burn out your hair,
id get one of those spritz gel spray things that like lorel or pantee have they usually say "naturally straight" or something for you to spray on your hair right before you use it. they work really good. but any type of water that goes on your hair after you straighten it .. will def. make it frizz up.

What exactly is the "DDR Extreme Music Sampler" ?? Do you get to dance to it like the regular games. Or does it just preview the songs on DDR Extreme? I'm soo confused.

lol my friend kryssie just recently bought that online for her sweet sixteen party she had. buncha strobe lights && glowsticks all in a pool while we swam and danced under a fog machine to that music.

is there any way to add a certain clip of song or music to an open file [blue wave line] so that instead of skipping the original and playing what you put in, it plays both at the same time.

if you look like jojo id say go with more of her hair styles that you like best.
try curling your hair you dont have to necessarily cut it .. i think your hair sounds just perfect the way it is.
but if you are looking for a drastic change i guess id cut it to your shoulders or so and if you want to draw less attention to your cheeks with a short hair cut, id get more layers in the front.
to be honest though, short hair cuts draw more attention to chubby cheeks..but in my opinion i think its really cute.
if you keep your hair the way it is but then get more layers in the front...sort of like bangs...i think that should help a bit for taking away some.

but straightening your hair draws less attention to facial feature more so than curly hair.

question 1: contacts are usually about 20$ not including tax ect. and you can get trail free pair.
but you have to get an exam so if u have a recent eye exam you can get them. if you have 20/20 vision then all they would need to do is measure the dynamics of your eye so they can find which ones will fit you best.
yes, if u havent had a recent exam it might be a bit expensive. mine just about 100$
the people at the contact place though, should give you all kinds of free trails to try on if you are persistant in a certain color you want
if you need a perscription theyre a lot easier to get online because sometimes, getting them online you cant get some without a perscription because they are kinda bad for your eyes.

question 2: seeing as you have really dark brown eyes and dark brown hair if you want to go subtle id get a lighter brown to accent your hair.
if you are looking for a drastic change id go with an ocean blue or jade green.

i personally have red hair with natural blonde highlights and light green/blue eyes.
i wanted my eyes to look more blue like sky blue the way they usually do when i dont wear makeup and stuff. so i asked for the enhancers because those are for light eyes...and it didnt really do much to my eye...because my eye just happened to be the same color as the sky blue one.
then they let me try an ocean blue one...and it really really stood out but it was so dark it didnt really look that natural.

i guess im not really going for completely natural but...i think im going to get ones called "Angelic"

BIKINI INCIDENT.
Yeah, so I was at my friends party, Jaci. & it was at the rec center. So, when we were swimming.. this one girl Ellen, she just kept talking to the guys. [They tried to like crash our party, they weren't even invited.]
**By the way, all the girls were invited.
So, we like hate them. & there like slutty Ellen is FLIRTING AWAY WITH THEM. So, my friend Stephanie & me got mad.. because it made Jaci cry, & so we also were like dude, way to ditch us. So, we went behind her, & you know when you wanna get someones attention, you snap there bikini? like.. yeah.. well thats what my friend Stephanie & I meant to do. We were in the deep end & Stephanie & me suck at swimming, so we both grabbed the ends, & it like started to come undone, but she caught it the second it did. & the guys said they didn't even see anything. So, then she got all mad at us. & like all the girls & half the guys like hate her.. so they were all like GOOD JOB! So, we still apologized, because we felt bad. But, instead of her just slowly forgiving us. She told all these people, & made them think we were lesbians. Which is TOTTALY gay, considering Stephanies had like 4 boyfriends & I've had like 8 boyfriends & madeout with them and such. So, yeahh. We're mad that they think that. I don't know what do. Everyone kept teasing Stephanie in school, about it. They didn't say anything to me, because.. well I'm mean. haha. But, I don't know whether to yell at Ellen, & like completely ruin her life.. or to, just act like I don't care & never talk to her again.

What is the best way to go about this?

well i think its pretty immature what happened. sounds like middle school drama but honestly i think that you should talk to her about it and confront her and tell her ur real feelings.
dont go spreading more rumors and such but be the bigger person instead. that my friend, builds character.
and then if she still doesnt understand or forgive you. forget it.

if its not worth the friendship to either one of you then then you both are better off just not talking.

eventually though, she'll come around, and so will you. and you both will be bf4ls again.

What are some good hait styles you can do if your bangs are really short and you dont want to wear them down??

if i were you i would simply tuck them behind my ears or what bangs i could and just let the rest fall because you cant really spray down completely the bangs because they'll fall anyways.
but you could try wearing your hair up or half up half down or all the way down.
Curls tend to take away from bangs and straight hair usually defines them.

my hair has always usually been long and i get pretty bored with styles easily and love to change up my hair all the time.
i would straighten it one day.
then curl it the next.
i adore curly hair but unfortunatly i wasnt blessecd with natural curly hair but very, very straight hair.
usually it takes me 3 1/2 hours to curl my hair but i found a curling iron at target, its gold and black. and it has ring like outlines on the hot part so it curls better. it also now just takes me twenty minutes which is a big change :)
when you do tight curls putting gel on them is a cute idea for being semi formal and having it stay longer.
you can also do half up or all the way up instead of just down with curly hair and it always looks adorable.
