There's no need to be worried about that rumor. First of all, talk to him about that and ask him if it's true ; cause you never can believe a rumor. If it is, just let him know right then and there before all these emotions get involved, you're not that type of girl. And so you know if he continues wanting to date you, he obviously doesn't care and really likes you. And if he DOES care, well then he's just a player and doesn't deserve you, but I don't think that's the case.

Anyways.

About the taking it slow thing. Just the next time you guys are hanging out and whatnot, before you go to say by or just whenever, make a little hint/joke of it. Be like,"Haha, it's okay to kiss me, you know! I'm sure I won't give you germs." and that'll let him know it's ok, but you're not giving him the third degree or anything. Just remember, it IS a new relationship. And he just might really like you and might be afraid he'll move too fast for you and you'll get upset, and he might not want to ruin everything.

And also, you can kiss him too! I'm sure that'll not just give him a hint, it'll give him a message, lol. But I'm sure if you gave him a big kiss, little kiss, whatever he'll know that you don't mind being kissed and giving kisses, so he'll be a-okay. :]

I hope I helped.

Well personally if your going out with him id just start making out with him and when he gets to the point you dont want to get to just tell him to stop but everyone would say to "talk" to him but i prefer to take action vs. talk and so do the guys.

the ebst way to solve your problem is to talk to him and explain to him how you feel. tell him that you dont want to be moving to slow or to fast. and about the rumor. well rumor arent true (well most of the time)if you want to know the truth the only way to find out is to ASK him for the truth. if he cares about you he will respect your opion and wont try to make you have sex with him if your not ready(or whatever is the reason). hope this helps =)
