well you made a wise decision congratulations! all you need to do is cut down on your usage. say you smoke 5 a day....smoke 4 tomorrow, 3 the next day and so on. until you finally are over your addiction. i know it wont be easy but you have to keep telling youself this is what you want and stick to it. once you go one month without smoking, reward yourself. =]] good luck!!

You can try putting pepper in the cigerettes, they'll taste weird so you might not like it and quit. Or eat something else that will make you not think of smoking.

Well for me smoking is a huge turn-off, but that`s not the question you asked. Well I say you find some social groups with people dealing with the same problem. You can search it up online, and see how people quit smoking. My dad used to smoke, and he quit a long time ago. You really have to think about your health, and I don`t smoke, so I can`t really relate to you. I can`t tell you it`s going to be easy, because then I would be lieng. There`s no easy way of quitting, because once you start it`s addicting. Try finiding hobbies you like doing, and that will get your mind off of smoking. I really wish I can say more, but that`s all I can think of. Good-Luck

Your totally right. Its not that easy. I use to smoke but I dont anymore. Its acutually more addicting than heroine, believe it or not. What I did to quit was, every time I had a craving, I would eat a sucker. I suggest you like go to the dollar store or something. You may gain some weight in the end, but thats better than smokeing. If that dosen't work, maybe take up a new hobby, like running or learning how to play some instrument. You'll be to busy to even worry about smoking. This advice may sound weird, but this is stuff I did to stop smoking, and it worked.

my mom used to smoke..she recently just quit a month ago..what she did was she'd go from a number of cigerettes a day..and cut down 2 a day..and when she got down to 2 or 1 a day..she'd start usuing the patch as the cigerettes..the patches work great..they worked 100% for my mom..she has pretzels, candy, and little stuff she can munch on to keep her self from thinking about picking up a cigerette
