Question Posted Sunday September 24 2006, 10:47 pm
in middle i checked out this book from my school library ireally liked. it was a poetry book and one of the poems was called "Dust" and another was something like "Why Nobody Pets the Lion at the Zoo". anyway, now i have to memorize a poem for one of my classes and i want to do one of htose ones since i liked those poems but i can't remember the name of the book. it had a really long name that ended with "a note to (or from) a friend" or something like that. i really wish i could remember the name so i could find it. i think it also had one called "Valentine" and one about superman in it. if you can help, please do.
Edited to add:
I just looked at the contents of the Watermelon book (using Amazon.com) and it has one called Dust in it as well, and Valentine. So, there you have it.
I also wanted to thank you. In my searching, I found books that I would love to read with my son. [ blwinteler's advice column | Ask blwinteler A Question ]
