schlichtinator answered Sunday September 24 2006, 3:07 pm: This doesn't matter. Slow dancing is essentially holding someone in you arms and rocking to the beat of the music. Otherwise, make up ridiculous things or find someone to dance with. if you do dance with someone, it's basically holding or being held by the hips and rocking to the beat of the music. It's a good time. Don't get angry when they play a rock song or two; this tends to make you a horrible person. [ schlichtinator's advice column | Ask schlichtinator A Question ]
MelLeDisko answered Sunday September 24 2006, 2:43 pm: It doesn't even matter if you can't really dance or not. I don't even think how kids dance at dances is considered dancing. It's basically shaking your butt and grinding with people, that's really all you have to do, and nobody'll notice if you're not grinding like a pro or something, lol. Also, sometimes what I do if I can't dance too well to a song, I'll just stand there and talk to my friends and just you know, sway a little back and forth and tap my foot to the music. Alot of people at dances tend to just sit there and talk for awhile and just listen to the music. I hope I helped. [ MelLeDisko's advice column | Ask MelLeDisko A Question ]
karlyndarlin05 answered Sunday September 24 2006, 1:12 pm: basically. you dont have to be a pro for dancing at homecoming and stuff. just basically. like fast songs..just kinda move back and forth try to do it to the music. its easier to do than it is to explain. you dont have to know how to dance. just do what feels right.
sternesindblind answered Sunday September 24 2006, 12:36 pm: I'm definitely not a dancer and while I didn't turn into a star at homecoming I did manage to get involved without embarrassing myself. Where I'm from it's a given that they're going to play the cha cha slide or something with instructions so that's a lot easier. While you may not get everything on the first try you'll get the idea of things. And if you want to dance to a regular song try dancing with a friend or maybe even someone you like. Let them take the lead and just go with it. [ sternesindblind's advice column | Ask sternesindblind A Question ]
