alright, im studying for a test, and im in desperate need of your help..physics is HARD!
if you can't answer any of thequestions..maybe you've heard of a good physics-website that explains this kinda stuff (cause my physics book is waaayy to complicated!!) thanks
So here we go,
what the heck is displacement (S) as in v = s divided by t?? and how do you use it, like in what type of questions?
how do you calculate the instantaneous velocity??
and like, what is it??
Displacement is just the distance from one point to another. So if a car moves from S=1 to S=6, the car's displacement is 5.

I recommend asking your teacher or getting a tutor to explain it to you better because it's hard to do over the net. Also, our answers are limited over advicenators because we aren't technically supposed to help with homework, but I understand that you are trying to get help with the information and not get others to do it for you. Displacement is a vector with size and direction. We might say, "The object experienced a displacement of 30 meters in a direction 50 degrees South of West." We know how far the object moved and in what direction it moved.
The difference between an objects starting position and final position after it moves is known as displacement.
Formula for displacement: delta x= x2 - x1. Displacement is the change in X position, or delta x. Delta is a Greek Symbol which looks similar to a triangle. x2= destinational position, x1= starting position.
Displacement = meters
Velocity = m/s
Acceleration = m/s squared.
