when people are in a group, some might start pushing, shoving, hitting, slamming into eachother, etc. cause a circle of shoving, hitting people to form. this is moshing. basically, you just kick, hit, shove, push, etc. eachother around.

it's not THAT amazing/fun, and sometimes people get really hurt.

moshings lame anyway.

heres a really shitty video of moshing.

Moshing. Is amazing.
It's the pit in the center of a crowd at a show. It seems brutal, with the pushing, shoving, punching, and whatnot, but it's just how people feel the music. It's generally guys in the pit, and some of them are huge. Stay away from them, since you're obviously a beginner.
It depends on what band you're going to see, if it's more metal, there's going to be a more brutal pit. If it's softer, there probably won't be a huge pit, but there will be hardcoredancers (who, in my opinion, are a disgrace to the whole "rock scene").
Hope I helped.

Moshing. Its fun. HaHa. Okay, here goes, moshing is pretty much a group of people pushing each other around and kinda fighting. No big deal, just kinda stay out of the real serious moshers way or you will get hurt.

Moshing is where there are crowds of people (like a circle) around people in the middle who are dancing (like hardcore dancing) and they push and fight (not serious fighting, but people do get hurt). What band is it? I hope this helped. <3 Dana

Your going into the mosh pit. its like a packed place with a lot of people with loud music. No dancing, just shouting and standing in a small place listening to awesome music.
