Pete and I talk, and he's a pretty decent guy. He always tells me I'm hot and sexy, but he's also cool to talk to. The only problem is, he smokes pot. I would never do pot, and he knows that. I don't know if I should stop talking to him because of that or what. I also know my friends would think he was a druggie and would tell me to stop talking to him. Help?

My friend is dating a guy that does... he's a sweetie and since she doesnt smoke, he never does it in front of her and basically told her she'd never see him high. smokers aren't bad people... a lot of people think their just druggies but some you would never even know do it unless they tell people. i think you can talk to him and stuff still but really get to know his habits before you think of dating him. <3

Due to prior experience, I don't recommend getting into an intimate/more than friends relationship with a "pot smoker", however, I have a lot of friends that smoke pot that don't pressure me to partake.
It really depends on where you're from, because where I'm from, pot smoking isn't that big of a deal. I've never smoked before, and I don't advocate it, I'm just saying not to judge him because of his habit, that he will most likely outgrow.
