Curls

Question Posted Monday September 18 2006, 11:48 pm

Whenever I try to make curls (like ringlet curls) with my curling iron, it just curls the edges a little instead of what i want it to look like. i want it to look kind of like a spring if thatmakes sense. and don't tell me to get a different curling iron because it's the only one i have (and it's about an inch wide). is there a specific way to make your hair look like this?

thank you!

when i curl my hair i part it and spray hairspray on each piece so it stays on longer after you spray the hairspray comb through it or else the curls look a bit weird they don't come out looking nice and bouncy after that start from the top curl it and work your way down to the bottom make sure the curling iron is close to your scalp but not to close you don't want to burn yourself :] and hold it for about 15-30 sec and it should come out pretty good.. because when you curl your hair and you start from the bottom and work your way up it only curls the bottom and they go down quicker.. also for bouncier curls you should try a flat iron its really simple.. try going on youtube.com they have a lot of tutorials on curls.. check them out
i hope this helps you out.

If a curling iron doesn't work, try actual curlers. I know it takes longer to achieve but in the end you will have gorgeous curls.
