first day of school stress
today was my first day of school (8th grade) and it was very boring and stressful. The boy I like is in 3 of my classes (out of 6) and we're both really shy. I'm not sure if he likes me but out of the corner of my eye, he sometimes looks at me. I really like him but i'm not sure if he knows that. He's not that popular and he knows SOMEBODY likes him... but I dont think he knows its me. My mom really cares about education and she says i'm not allowed to date guys until i'm 17! I really like this boy and I'm scared that I'm concetrating on him and not on education. I really need some advice on what to do. I want to respect my mom by following the rules and not dating until 17... but then again... I really like this boy! It's going to be like this for the entire year! Please help me!! I'm soo desperte! thanks bunches!

Ahhh 8th grade. Fun times. For me anyways. If you want to follow your mom's rule and not date until 17, forget about him. Just be friends with him. But if you're like me, go out with him and don't tell your mom. My mom basically won't let me date until I get out of COLLLEGE. And even then she'll interrogate me about the boy (What's his GPA, is he good in lcass, what's he taking, blah blah)
You're only in 18th grade. Enjyo it and don't get stressed over a boy. TRUST ME that's not the funnest way to spend your special year in 8th gradE!!!
Just be friends with him. Invite him to the movies with several other girl and guy friends. Go to the bowling alley. Do a group thing and invite him all the time. And just TALK to him. Pretend he's one of your girl friends...just don't start exploring the female anatomy =P
Haha. And if you get the vibe (along ith your friends) that he likes you and he doesnt ask you out, YOU ask him out. Seriously...what have you got to lose? Or if you're too shy to ask him out, just clue him in that the girl that likes him is you and just casually ask if he wants to go to a movie...well with your friends that is..=X
Haha... just enjoy 8th grade, don't get hung up over him...Talk to him on AIM or MSN or YIM...just TALK to him. Seriously.
Well I've tried all I can =D. Have fun and enjoy 8th grade because high school...uhg too big and stairs!! AHHH
