i went through this same thing. There are some great workout tapes you can do that involve working with 5 pound weights (arms), crunches and things like that ( stomach), and lower body (butt and legs). I would suggest the workout tapes with Gin Miller and the "step" (which comes with the video). It gets you in shape and you notice it quickly. Also, (this was always a big plus for me) you could eat whatever you wanted! hope this helped. <33 EAS

well i bought a bowflex and it really helped. it has stuff for your arms and you legs and it really helps give you a really good workout. but if you cant afford that than i sugest you do around 20 pushups a day or more as much as you can, then 100 situps or higher it all depends on how much you can do but you have to force yourself to do all this everyday for atleast an hour. and then run and do all you other exersies. trust me i did this for about a month and got into shape.

Hey! A couple of years ago I too weighed 150lbs, and I am 5'5" so I looked really chunky! But I went on this low fat diet with a friend of mine. I was down to 125lbs last summer, but I have gained ten pounds since then and now weigh 135lbs. I look soo much better and clothes fit me when I go shopping! It's awesome. It probably took me about three months to lose the twenty five pounds. Like the first 6 weeks, you don't lose any weight, but after that it goes quick. I didn't excercise at all durring this time period. Oh, and the diet: 12 to 15 grams of fat a day. If it is fat free, eat as much as you want (pretzels, gummy candy, fruit, vegies, chicken breast meat, fat free yogurt, fat free cereal w/ skim milk, egg beaters...) Bread has 1 gram in one slice so toast or sandwiches with lean lunch meat are good. Don't get the fat free miracle whip, though. It is nasty! Get the light miracle whip, there's only like 1.5 grams of fat in one tablespoon. Do you like tuna salad? There is a fat free butter spray that I use, too. With skim milk, it makes great mac n cheese out of the box ( 5 grams in the whole box this way ). I eat alot of Lean Cuisenes and cereal. If you want to lose weight faster, excercise too. And having a friend to compete with and cheer you on helps ALOT (esp. when you don't lose weight at first)!

i don't think you can lose 50 lbs by just running. yes, exercising will help you a lot, but you need some food restrictions if you want to lose that much weight. what you can do, is watch your portions. don't eat too much, but eat enough. it's basically all about portion control. sure, you can have cookies, but i have 1 or 2 instead of 3-5. make sense?? substitute junk food for fruits, veggies, crackers, yogurt, etc. make sure you eat breakfast every day. exercise for maybe an hour er so. drink lots of water to keep yourself hydrated. drink milk if you like it. if not, stick to some kind've juice. orange, apple, etc. no soda or candy. if you stick to things like that, you'll be sure to lose weight. here's a few websites-

you should check out all of those websites & find exercises that fit you.

-hope that helped!♥
