There's guys out there who are shy, and have the same issue.
You should ask someone now, because it might be too late later. Not just anyone, Ask someone that interests you, and if that doesn't work, Then go ahead and ask someone else. You never know, afterwards they could be your best friend. :)

if you really feel that no one is going to ask you, go ahead and ask someone yourself. guys can be shy sometimes and are too afraid to ask girls. plus, why should guys do all the dirty work ? and if in the end, you just dont wanna ask anyone, just go with your friends ! the homecoming isnt about who has the hottest date, its about having fun with people you care about. hope this helps !

If you like someone and you want them to be your date, then go for it and ask them to the homecoming dance. The worst they can say is 'no,' then you can always go out and try to find someone else. If the one you REALLY wanted to go with says no, then try asking one of your good guy friends. Just ask him if he'd like to go to the dance with you, but just as friends. I'm sure you'll find someone to go to the dance with, you have until October to find someone. Maybe someone will end up asking you! ♥
