i have curly hair, when i ever scrunch it and put moose in it it gets very curly at like end and all the way up to my ears its very curly, but above that the hair is pretty much just stuck to my head flat, how can i get more volume near my scalp
MummuM answered Tuesday September 5 2006, 12:17 pm: I have really curly hair (but I tend to straighten it a lot) and when I would put mousse in my hair it would get the same way. Bunch of curls near the bottom but the top would always be flat, with no curls. The best thing to do would be to flip your head upside down and scrunch it that way. Then, flip your head up right and scrunch near your scalp. Also, if you have any volumizing hair products, use that. If you don't, go out and buy some. That'll work loads with making your hair on top curler. ♥ [ MummuM's advice column | Ask MummuM A Question ]

wannabeinmahentourage answered Monday September 4 2006, 9:06 pm: i also have hair like this :) dont use a lot of conditioner at the roots. the product will just weigh ur hair down. if ur scrunching it, flip your head over and do it. this way, curls stay in and they keep their volume. if you want, go out and buy some volumizing hair products. they dont always work but you can give it a try! hope this helps! ♥ arlyn [ wannabeinmahentourage's advice column | Ask wannabeinmahentourage A Question ]

The other solution is to use a diffuser on the end of your hair dryer and use it on your roots.

I can't really relate because my hair isn't super curly. But if you flip your head upside down and get deep into your hair, you will probably get volume into it.
