Queastion about Bass amp (for guitarists)

I have a bass amp & I bought an electic guitar I would like to knowhow to get the best sound out of my bass apm with my electirc guitar.

Well it would help to know what kind of amp it is, generally thou all you can do is fiddle and hope for the best. A good place to start is turn the bass down and the trebble up a bit.
