if you put your hair in 4 braids before you go to sleep will it be wavy when you wake up? like good waves, or will it look crimpy and bad? does it help if your hair is wet, oe whatever? i want to try it for school.
thanks
Alli answered Monday August 28 2006, 5:03 pm: 1) take a shower
2) frech braid it tight
3) go to sleep
4)take it out
5)brush it out very gently so that it wont lose the waves.
Karliey122_neo answered Monday August 28 2006, 2:51 pm: Ok when i want wavy hair i just get my hair damp not soaking and put in tight braids. i leave them in all night and in the mornig i take them out and spray them with hair spray. Like the more braids you have the smaller the waves are going to be like just 2 braids and you'll have big waves and 10 braids they will be smaller.
LoVe_cHaRu answered Monday August 28 2006, 1:40 pm: well if it's wet then it's probably gonna turn out crimpy. but whenever i want to wave my hair, i just put it in 2 tight braids and spray the braids with Pantene Pro-V Classic Hairspray [I think any hairspray would work] before I go to sleep. METHOD 1: Pin curls
1. Wash your hair and blow dry it until it is about 70% dry.
2. Starting with the top layers, take small sections of your hair and twizzle them into little pin curls.
3. Secure with little hair bands.
4. You can either go to bed and undo the pin curls in the morning or blow dry your hair until it is 100% dry then undo them.
METHOD 2: Rollers
1. Wash your hair and blow dry it until it is about 70% dry.
2. Starting with the top layers, roll your hair into hair rollers.
3. Blow dry your hair until it is 100% dry then remove the rollers.
METHOD 3: Hair straighteners
1. Wash and dry your hair fully.
2. Use some volumising mousse (this is optional but the finished result will look better if you do).
3. Take your straigheners and clamp your hair in them as if you were going to straighten it.
4. Wind the the section of hair around the straighteners.
5. Slowly move the straighteners down your hair and repeat the steps until all your hair is done.
Please note: This method does take a little practice and it might not go right first time. [ rainbowcherrie's advice column | Ask rainbowcherrie A Question ]
