only instrumental songs

i need help! can somebody explain to me if theres such a program that will take off the vocals on a song? Like if i had a song that has words on it and i only want the music on it, is there such a program that will let me do that? please help!!! I have a song and i only need the background music for my dance class. plz help! thanks

i dont really know if theres a program, but if you have a downloading program like limwire, ares, kazaa, etc. you can download some songs without the lyrics by typing in something like "(song name) instrumental" hope i helped.

well i had to take some words off of my cd for a song to sing for a pagent so i was looking on the net and there is a site that you can download a program for i think 30 $ that will just take the word off. but for one song thats kind of a lot. this is the web site [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
