Im sorry to say that you can't loose 5 pounds a week because its so hard to loose a pound a week.
So I sujest you get more active like sports, cheerleading, extra curicular actvites, yoga, or jog for 30 minutes, and swim (optional). Don't skip a meal especially Breakfast but make sure you have a healthy breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You can have snacks like fruit, and vegtables. Also no white bread, mayo, fat foods, fast foods, and other things that have high carbs, calories, sugar, and sodium (salt).

Hope I helped, Sophia

Unless you starve yourself and throw up after chewing gum, that's not gonna happen. It's really hard to lose a pound in a week..better yet 5.

Just start out slowly and don't overwork yourself. If you make the exercising too hard for your body, you'll be burning muscles instead of fat..yikes 0.o

Wow I answer too many of these questions. Anywhos about that eating. Don't ever skip a meal. It will slow your metabolism down and makes you body STORE fat.

Eat healthy breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Eat small snacks like fruits or veggies in between meals so you won't be as hungry at the mealtime which will cause you to over eat or reach for the evil second plate. When you do eat, fill a SALAD plate instead of a dinner plate so you'll get the vision that the plate is full. Eat slowly for at least 20min (that's how long it takes for your brain to say that you're full)

Stay away from white bread and pastas (they have a lot of carbs and fat) Mayo, butter, peanut butter, etc are NO NOs.
--------------
Exercising part. Start out by walking everyday for at least 30 minutes. Then jog and gradually increase your speed. GRADUALLY, Do stretches before and after too. That's a biggy.

Um, pilates are also very very great for working out and so are weight lifting. There is a show by Denis Austin that is very very good at burning fat and toning. You should check out to see when it comes on in your area...it should be on around 7AM...that's when it's on where I live

I think it would be pretty tricky to lose 5 pounds/week.

Every person is different, and if you just keep up with the excersising and eating well, you will reach your goal. Maybe not in the amount of time you wanted, but you can do it!

I suggest buying some sort of workout video. They can be pretty specific on the area you want to work on. And if you can rather walk somewhere other than driving, then walk. And dont eat lots of junk food! Eat healthy fruits and vegetables.

There is the nutritional info on the back labels of most things so you will know the amount of fat in things.

Good luck!
