shaving
ok i'm a girl and i really want to start shaving my legs but i cant ask my mom because im embarassed and kinda shy. i went to this website to get a free schick quattro women's razor and it came in the mail yesterday and my mom opened it (while i was on the computer downstairs) and she put it in her room. and today i saw the razor still in the package in her closet. the whole point of me getting that free razor is that i thought my mom would actully give it to me and be like "you can use this" or something so i wouldnt have to ask her myself. so what im trying to say is that how can i ask my mom if i can start shaving my legs? like not giving her a whole lecture just saying something quick like can i start shaving or something (without writing a note or anything) thanks so much and sorry if it was to much to read!

just tell your mother the shaver sent in the mail was intended for you and a hint for her that you want to start shaving and dont say something like "everyones doing it" cause then she will know that you can be easily pressured and not have as much trust in you for something more serious like dating just calmly tell her you are mature enough :)

ok well this is pretty easy just kinda make a joke about it like rub your legs around your mom and say oooh i should start shaving my legs can i?? or something like that or if you have any friends have them say it in front of your mom jut have your friend say like you should start shaving your legs then have her or him ask your mom or be like dont you think she should start shaving her legs now if i have helped you at all please tell your friends or anyone who has questions about me please if you would and i'm sorry if i was not any help but if you have any other questions i'm here you can ask good luck

Tell her that you want to start shaving your legs.Nothings wrong with that,its self hygene.Tell her your disgusted of how youre legs look and that you want to wear a minni skirt but cant.She wont mind you taking care of your appearance.Oh and by the way,razors reallly suck.They make your leg hairs grow thicker the nect time.Waxing beats all.

If I were you I'd just ask her. My mom didn't want me shaving until I was a certain age, but I told her that all the boys at school were making fun of me (which they weren't) just so she'd let me shave. It worked! So you could tell her something like that or you could just tell her that you got the free razor for youself and ask her if she'll let you have it. She may talk to you about it (because that's just how moms are), but just remember, after she talks to you about it, you'll be able to do it, so what can it hurt? I hope this helped. <3 Dana

so if you are ready to shave just tell her. moms love to hear that kind of stuff. she will be thrilled im 99% sure. she will probably understand because she maybe went through the same thing. also its good now to break the ice and get comfortable with her because later on in life u might need to talk to her about more intense things. hope this helps and go for it.

well, i had the same problem. What i did was shave my legs in the shower, lock the door, hide the razor someplace, shave, then hide the razor when i came out. Sooner or later, my mom found out and she got really mad at me. what i told her was that Its soooo disgusting for a girl to have hairy legs, and alot of girls do it! And its just plain gross for a girl not to shave her legs. She still didnt let me, but said i could wax my legs. I complained, and complained, and complained about how ugly my legs were. and she finally gave up and let me shave. So you can pretty much do what i did. ;D

It'd be alot easier and save alot of your time if you just straight out asked if you can. She's your mom, don't be embarassed. She's there to help you! Trust me, once you ask her, you'll feel alot better! Good luck!
