MummuM answered Wednesday August 23 2006, 12:56 pm: The best thing to do would be to try to imagine ONLY you in the room, no one else. That way you won't be as nerves. You could also try this, too. Instead of looking at a bunch of people in the room, maybe you could focus on a few friends for support. You should tell one or a few of your closest friends that you're scared of doing this infront of everyone, they'll understand and will help you through it. Then when you go up to read whatever you have to read, just focus on them so you'll feel more comfortable about sanding up there. ♥ [ MummuM's advice column | Ask MummuM A Question ]

TEENAGExHEARTS answered Monday August 21 2006, 7:43 pm: are you giving a speech or something? if so, then just make sure you have something planned and have it memorized. and when you are speaking don't look at anybody specific in the audience. this is what i do: pick a spot in the back of the room and look at that when you are speaking.
