Losing Weight HELP!!! I'm 5'3 and about 107 pounds. I feel really fat even thought i play tennis 5 days per week. Is there a way that I can lose around 5 pounds by the time my school starts? (a week from monday). i really want to get toned. i do 100 situps a day but i want to tone my arms. If anyone has any suggestions they would be greatly appreciated!! i'll give good ratings to anyone who answers!!

Well, youre at a healthy weight right now. Try eating fruit, not like alot of fruit cups cause the fruit is all dipped in syrup which somewhat ruins the nutrition. take count of your calorie intake and fat grams. less bread and carbs helped me. if you workout alot then you could actually gain weight in muscle, which isnt bad but dont stress over what the scale says. Youre not going to be walking around with a sign that says your weight, people are going to be looking at you, not what the scale says.
less dairie products, try eating frozen yogurt instead of ice cream, if youre a icecream fanatic; its half the calories and less fat.
walking always helps too, working up a sweat. hmm.. popsicles, try looking for sugarfree popsicles, looking at the calories. decrease amount of pastries and fatty foods.
hope i helped, feel free to ask any more questions. ]
Try push-ups, that should be ok for you since you already get a cardio workout when you play tennis. ]
You really don't need to lose weight...a healthy weight for someone who's 5'3" is 115lbs...
anywhos you can do Pilates to tone up. It's really good exercise and I'm pretty sure you'll like it. If you want to tone your arms, do some weight lifting. Do something like moving around furniatures or heavy objects that you CAN carry without hurting yourself...and don't move around the furniatures w/o asking your parents...I mean having them walk into a room with rearranged furniatures and them not knowing about it...well not a good idea =X ]
