orphans answered Sunday August 20 2006, 3:40 pm: it normally takes about a week fofr a relaly bad sunburn to go aay and turn into a tan, but what you can do to help it is soak yourself in like an ICE cold bath almost, and use a lot of aloe, and drink tons of ice cold water as well. HadesJr answered Sunday August 20 2006, 3:28 pm: I am not sure if it goes away that quickly but I reccommend to put on burn relief every 30-60 minutes depending on how bad it is. [ HadesJr's advice column | Ask HadesJr A Question ]

PANiCxATxTHExDiSCO answered Sunday August 20 2006, 1:11 pm: Well, I think it's possible. It really depends on how bad it is.
I was an idiot and sat out in the sun for two hours yesterday and got burned on my face.
It's already starting to go away. You can barely see it now and this is what I have been doing:
Washing my face with dove deep moisture body wash.
Putting AcneFree Oil-free moisturizer on my face ever 3 hours.
And before I went to bed I used Vanicream Lite Moisturizing Skin Lotion.
The stuff I was using is really hard to find except for the dove thing which I got from walmart so if you can't find those things you can try this:
Buy the dove stuff from walmart. Well, pretty much anywhere has it. And wet your face with a cloth and then put some on your hand and rub it till it starts to lather where ever you're burned. Then wipe your face gently with a cloth. Make sure you're using cold water.
Then you can buy Johnson's baby oil from about anywhere and put that on where you're burned.
Just try and keep a lot of moisture on it and avoid going in the sun.
MummuM answered Sunday August 20 2006, 1:02 pm: It's not possible for it to go away in one day, especially if it's really bad. You have to give it some time. I suggest putting some Aloe Vera on it. It'll keep your burn cold and will help with the redness. ♥ [ MummuM's advice column | Ask MummuM A Question ]
xEVYx answered Sunday August 20 2006, 12:49 pm: I don't think so. You need to keep it dehydrated though. Put aloe on it every chance you get. Use the spray kind if it hurts too much to touch it. And if you drink alot of water it'll help it heal better.
