flat eyelashes.

Question Posted Saturday August 19 2006, 11:47 pm

Sorry if this is the wrong category.

My eyelashes are extremely flat even after i use a eyelash curler. I have to use it like 6 times before i put the mascara on. And within 2 minutes they are flat again. I tried apllying mascara then curling them but then wont stay curled. Is there a certain surler or something i can use that will keep them curled longer?

thank you

use waterproof mascara, and trust me it works. i used to use normal mascara and that made my eyelashes look flat too.. untill i used waterproof mascara and i curl my eyelashes to.. so when i put on waterproof mascara, my eyelashes stayed curled!

heat your curler up with a hair dryer. [:

a really good way to curl your eyelashes:
1) buy an `eyelash sculpting` mascara, like the ones from maybelline and revlon that are anti-clump. put one coat on
2) your eyelash curler should have replacable strips, and the reason it may not be efficient is because its been worn out. buy a brand new one that will work better. mine is revlon, and its works great.
3) then after that, its just a normal eyelash curling process (place the curler clamps as close to the bottom of you eyelid as possible..)

Before curling your eyelashes, run the curler in hot water--really hot from your faucet. Let it sit there for 20-30 seconds, then dry off really well. It makes it stay a lot longer. Well i hope i helped! Also, there is mascara to help with that that gives it extra curl.

Well I was in Sephora the other day and i saw this electric eyelash curler, the end of it heats up a bit so it might work a little better. You should maybe check that out but other than that im not sure theres anything. Good luck! <3 Kristi

Hey, I'm Sasha. The only suggestion I could give you is to buy a set of false eyelashes. They look real and they never go flat:]! Hope that helped a little.
